    Hello all what sites allow me to post email marketing databases for sale? Ive tryed clist,kiggi, allot of others and they boot me for posting. Any ideas on where to post at? Ive got over 15,000 worth of data and I cant seem to post it anywhere.

    Unless it is opt in traffic, you are wasting your time. Having said that, the buyer would be wasting their time too .

    Why would it be illegal?

    You need to ensure that you abide by the relevant laws of the countries that you are operating in but for example in the UK if all the people had actively double opted in (ie said yes to marketing and yes to their details being passed on and cannot have passively opted in) then it would be perfectly legal to sell that data within the UK.

    I would be surprised to find sites that will allow you to sell the lists however because there are so many small traders who wont be doing what is necessary and it is simply too hard to police to make it worth while for sites to get involved with.
