    I'm looking to start a site that would have images and videos on it for the users to browse and view. Here are some of the features I would like to have:

    - batch upload and auto-create thumbnails for images
    - support for embedding flash/wmv video files (hosted on my server)
    - able to add externally hosted videos (youtube etc)

    I'm pretty sure I have seen this before but I can't remember what it was called or if I'm just thinking of a modded joomla.

    You need flash, flash can load utube videos and pictures, it can't play wmv files however unless they r first converted to flv files.

    That looks like what I wanted for the video section, thanks I'll have to try it out. Now I need to find a picture gallery component and I am on my way.
