    Iam happy to see some free services around the web...Some free services are providing everything with many features....all at no cost! For example the below is one of the free services features;

"At this free Web hosting service, you get 1,000 megs of space, as well as unlimited monthly bandwidth. Profuse Host offers lots of useful features, including free domain and subdomain hosting, PHP/MySQL support, E-mail accounts, FTP access, FrontPage extensions, and more. Ad supported."

(If you request I provide the URL of free service)

What are the advantages these services will get by doing so! And how long they are able provide the said services at no cost? Iam newbie to this kind of activities hence I request my senior members throw some light on the topic! If it is useless and this doubt born out of my ignorance please forgive me!
    Regards

    About those free webhosting companies.
Not only their ads on your site and all pages of your site (what if you have a family friendly site and bingo..here comes a porn banner?).
What if your site gets really popular? Then those freebies want money to keep you going.
ANd domains? If you use their domains, you lose everything if they stop the service. And rough for getting se's to get your site if not your domain.
What if you want to move your site to another host company?
If you use your own domain name on another company like that, you could find your domain held hostage!
Oh, just all kinds of bad things can happen using a free hosting service!

Best advice for anyone, new or old on the net:
    Get your own domain first.
Get hosting for that domain (not free).

1.) we have never displayed any adult content on any of the site we host (porn, gambling etc)
2.) as a client, you are free to make a backup of your site and cancel your account anytime
3.) Currently we are offering 1 Gb of space and 100 Gb of bandwidth. If a client needs more space, they can either pay for more space or they can buy a hosting package at our parent company (
    ).
4.) You have the option of using your own domain when ordering free hosting.
5.) ads are used to pay for the hosting services.

    some examples:

As you can see, you also have the option to have automated ads removed from the domain and use the ad code.

You can also read the testimonials here -
Not all free services are the same. All we ask is our clients abide by our rules and in return in we try out best to keep everything smooth for them. We have admin who monitor the servers just like paid hosting. We also provide support for our clients eventhough they are not paying any monthly fees.
