What tutorials are you looking for?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently in the process of starting up a new photoshop tutorials blog and I wanted your input on what kinds of tutorials you'd like to see. I already have a few based on cutting out the background, abstract patterns, clearing up skin etc. But if you have any ideas then please just throw them at me. I'm open to anything to do with the programme really because I want to make as many as I can to give my blog the best chance of gathering new traffic once it launches.

Would be awesome to learn how to make abstract wallpapers and other graphics, because in progress of working with that, we will learn lot of methods how to use invidual tools.

 

how to make a scrolling favicon like the one dhl's website has , that would help

 

I have had a few people express interest about abstract backgrounds and wallpapers so will definitely be doing a number of those thanks satrebor.
And ah yes, I hadn't actually thought about favicon tutorials but I bet there's a few people wondering how to do those so might get started on one of those too.

try to make the aspects of your tuto's blog wider. in this way you'll get more and different visitors.

You mean branch out into tutorials for different software too? So basically not just limiting myself to photoshop tutorials? If this is what you meant then I have thought about that myself actually. I thought maybe I'd start out by having just some photoshop ones (since tutorials are not as quick to write as a normal text article) and then grow it steadily so that I can branch out into different programmes. My worry is that if I branch out and diversify now then I won't have enough targeted content to keep my visitors happy. But then again, I'm new to blogging so thankyou for the suggestion! Definitely something to keep in mind.

Interesting thread, well for me i'd like some focused tuts on things like wires ,advanced lighting, sigs,orbs and such, its hard to find things among those i think it'll be great to have added on your list

 

there can be many options, such as
photomanipulation
Creating buttin photoshop
Retouching a photo in photoshop etc.
