    I see many websites like this "www.famouscelebreties.com". Can someone tell me if these are google ppc ads or where they come from thanks

    It was deliberate. They earn money by registering misspelled domains.

    The ads you see are not AdSense ads, but rather ads offered by "domain parking" services such as Sedo.

    Pretty much yeah. The idea with domain parking is that you rely on traffic from those that misspell domains, and go on to click on one of your ads to go to the site that they were originally intending to visit in the first place. It's very profitable if you can find the right domains and have enough cash to buy hundreds of them.
