What type of content site-Article directory or Blog or Hubpages?

    Say you want to setup a content/ articles site where users can post their articles.
    Article directory was often used but Google does not seem to like article directories much these days. These days is it better to setup Blog pages (like blogger.com) site or Hubpages/ Squidoo type of site for allow users/ members to post their content? :)

    I would go for the blog version as it can be easily set up using WP MU atleast for the first few members ;)

    Web 2.0 sites - Wordpress, Blogger, Blog.com, Tumblr, etc. You can still do the odd few article directories but the web 2.0 seem to be having better effect.
