    At least buy some bottled water and store it in your closet/basement. It doesn't take much to bring down city water for 24/48 hours.
    And maybe get a few cans of baked beans while you're at it :)

    In the event of an "emergency" (a flood, fire, fuel shortage, extended power outage etc), my town will be limited to ONE tiny general store, with enough non refrigerated food to feed everyone for MAYBE one day.

    As we have seen that without water we cannot survive. Or otherwise fresh water scarcity will the most serious problem one day. So please try to save water as far as possible. I am doing this.
