    what kind of website would make as good as myspace or youtube and as popular as them growing mainly by the word of mouth and be known by everyone??

    With the gaming industry so huge right now I think something game related will really stand out, but I don't know about the level of MySpace or YouTube.

    I think you've inadvertently answered your own question.

    For smart business people there is still some gold to be found amongst MySpace & You Tube clone sites.

    The dumb people will simply set up a clone site, close their eyes and think it will take off.

    The smart people will create a You Tube niche site that appeals to a certain demographic.

    Example 1:

    Some smart ass has already created a You Tube clone focused on porn clips. www.boobtube.com is already taken by the way !!

    Example 2:

    Following the same niche theme-what about video clips of holiday destinations including hotels, resorts etc. Create a massive customer database of video reviews so holidaymakers can see what their intended hotel REALLY looks like.

    Example 3:

    Educational video clips. Create a site divided into multiple catagories such as car mechanics, music tuition, DIY etc.


    Don't try to reinvent the wheel..........just customise it :)

    PS The REALLY dumb people post great business ideas onto public forums !! :D
