What you think ? GUIStyles page !

Hey, this is my site: http://guistyles.com/

I was playing with this ads from a long time.

And i have two sticky (100% sure) ads.

One is under the menu (links).

And second is on the categorie, on each page.

This two are for sure good places.

But maybe from you experience you have some advice for me.
This are onlu 2 ads that i have now and the page got 2k visits per day.

I think i can add more but how, where ?

I've tried some places but they suck.

Also i start with the search box from google but i have many searches and no clicks, what a crap search tool is that

 

1. Add a large rectangle before the page body
2. Add a wide skyscraper on the left on top of the search box

I'm sure of these.

 

1.Large Large Rectangle (336x280) over the page would crash the look i think.
2. Good idea but how to code this in the wordpress theme. That would be hard but i try to think about it.

Ok i was working for about an hour and i got this:

Above in the main site there is 4 images, under 4 ads and that looks and works great.

I don't know what and how i should place that ads to make it good looking and work with the site

 

hmmm. Ok you get props for the banner but I still go with the large rectangle on the top body. Now try to work on with the wide skyscraper on the top left.

That large rectangle would move whole page down. It will crashed the look.

About wide skyscraper, it is impossible to make it true, too hard for me. Also i have images in the posts that width is 480 so there is no space for that skyscraper.

Well i don't know if this is good but i decide to put away this part that i was working this morning for.

I know i would have more $ from it (728 large format) but it doesn't fit the page.

So i move the icons and ads form header (above the menu) and put them to the index page and setup the banner for ads (above the 3 icons).

I will test it and see if it works. If not then i try with the header.

But it looks now better and works with the site.

About that i have 728x90 over the page body and it sucks.
I have to delete it.

The ads should be inside the page, that is my idea about this.

Also about that search form. I use it, got many searches string but no clicks, what is wrong with this ?

 

searches are like that. low ctr. Just concentrate on the ads.
