    Nofollow links are pretty much useless for seo. i use a firefox plugin to detect which sites use nofollow for their links..

    Yes it is true!
    You can get more traffic, and popularity for your brand, but not for pagerank from google, but probably it consider the nofollow link for assign some trustrank to your site.
