    Isn't Wordpress more for blogs? Drupal is more of a CMS imho.

    Hello I have done a couple of sites for rally teams / drivers. For the teams I went for Joomla but for the drivers I just used wordpress.

    I agree. Wordpress is easy to use, but it might not be a bad idea for the guy to start out on Drupal. You can just show him a few simple things and overtime as he wants to expand his site it will be alot easier. Unless he KNOWS he is going to keep it simple then Wordpress is great.

    actually i used wordpress for over one year.in the mean time i once installed joomla and droped that with no time,since it was too hard for me to digest.but now am back at joomla,experimenting new features.
    obviously joomla is lot powerful but for a noob i recommend WP

    Drupal if you plan on adding features to the site. Wordpress is you just want a blog.

    Wordpress kicks out great blogs but isn't as robust as Drupal.
