What's the best social network or community to promote a technology-related blog and why?

In order to promote a technology-related blog, which one do you consider is best? And more important why?

Well it's definitely not Facebook. I'd say it was close between Twitter and G+. Of the user base in G+ it has a heavy slant towards tech type people.

 

LinkedIn may be another consideration as it's a great way to connect with other professionals.

I think Facebook is the best place for any kind of promotion. Facebook has more than 1.5 billion users. So you always have the chance of getting more traffic than other social networking sites. You can also use Facebook Ads to promote you blog. Customize your Ads on the basis of Age, Sex and Geological location.

 

facebook is good but i would consider reddit and places like that if you have news on there or future stuff......Its hard to assess without knowing more about your site.

 

I can actually show you 2 social network sites that actually pay you to post pictures, comments, articles, and etc. It's nice to start getting paid for what we have already been doing for years on sites like facebook, myspace, twitter and etc. Sites like facebook make big money for our content and pay us nothing in return. But if you PM me I can show you 2 sites that does pay for our content. It can vary but some are making hundreds and some are making thousands. It all depends on how much effort you put into it.

 

It all depends upon your targeted audience and their persona. Identifying your audience person will help you to decide which social media platform will be best suited for you.
If you have written the blogs targeting the corporates or B2B audience, then I would suggest LinkedIn as the best option. But, if you have written the blog on general awareness then Facebook will also work for you.

Hello, I want to share with my experience in this way! As for me, I using as FB as Twitter, and sometimes it can be Instagram! Such networks as FB and Twitter are very popular, and has a good rank in Google search, it is trust sites! Thank for them, you will increase your traffic, develop your audience and orders too! If you have a blog, you can interact with it!

 

LinkedIn is bast Place of promotion.

 

I vote for Twitter, most of the tech influencers are there.
