    Make an index site. These types of sites index ones in particular type of information. For instance make a website that links to many different types of website design companies. If the site gets popular enough then you can start charging for "feature" listing with pictures and such.

    Totally depends on what interests you because that's something which you won't mind working your butt off for. Say you're interested in sports, start a sports website. No point starting a website which has science articles because you really won't have a personal interest in it.

    You can use Google Trend to find out what most popular and what most search recently and focus in that to build your website.
    You also can use google adwords keywords tools to find your niche with monthly search for your niche.

    Make an online shop and sell. Set the most expensive products and you'll have the answer to that what you can earn the best. When it comes to websites there is no specific response. It's up to you how much you can squeeze earnings from specified niche.

    Pull out notepad and write down all of your interests, list as many as you can think of. After you have your list start doing some market research on the keywords you wrote down. Tools such as google adwords keyword tool can help you find the avg search volume and how much other people pay for ads. You want to find something on your list that has a demand and that is not saturated. Be thinking of products and if your consumer base will consume the product. Don't rush into the site and don't be afraid to do proper research. If you were going to open a candy shop locally, you would first try to research your competition and market. Random sites make random money, remember that.

    This of course is not the only way to go about it, but should help you get started. Asking for other people's ideas will surely not ensure you success. Find your own niche and put in the work to set yourself up for success. There is a wealth of information on this site from adsense to affiliate networks. Learn about what you want to do and work,work, work, then work some more!
