    I am hunting around for big places to advertise on... I've seen sites like big-boys or ebaumsworld that charge 300 bucks for a one-day advertising spot :eek:

    What's the most you have paid for an advertising spot? (not asking how much you spend on adwords, or what you sapend on a month, I am asking about a single advertising spot). Where was it? How did it go, did you have a good ROI? I'd like to know if spending that much is worth it

    You should ask some of the competitors for the site you are considering to give you some quotes. That's a lot of money to be spending on one site for one day. The age of the glorified web ads has long since ended.
