    Hi folks,
I'm just signed up and really interested in trying to make money with egold, I've read all th sales pitches claiming I can make thousands every month.

Is this really possible? Any egold experts fancy taking on a beginner to mento??:) :)

I've been looking at the sales pitch on this site:

    http://www.currencytrading-center.com/

Is this all a load of crap or what?

I tried using egold a while ago and I HATED it. Just my opinion but the interface really, really sucks and it's a major pain to find "egold currency exchanges". It's based on the argument that paper currencies are unstable and therefore we should put our trust in a website that deals through gold... yeah, I'm skeptical too, I honestly really hate the idea.

how is it supposed to work anyway. As usual its all a bit confusing.

I transfer money into an egold account and then lease the gold?

    If I lease 100 egold at 3% i get 103 back.

    Im only confusing myself...!

Well, that is assuming that the e-gold metal prices goes up. You need to also factor in the 1%/pa which e-gold will keep as custodian fees .

I think if you want to invest in gold, do it through your local bank or just pay physical gold, they are a lot easier to handle.

I am curious do you have to be a legal bank in order to offer services like eGold and PayPal?

ok lol....this is a well known scam within the e-gold community. They are actually promoting a company called DXGold or GDT or DXSynergy (they change their name about every 6 months).

Basically its a non paying program that has been sucking money out of people for a while. Currently its taking in excess of 6 months to get your money out if at all.

E-gold is simply one of the payment systems that they are using for the service.

Stay well away from this service and the sites (like this one) that are selling "Training" materials.

E-gold itself is also a bit fishy. I've used it quite a bit but really its a haven for ghuys running dodgy investment schemes.

E-Gold itself isn't evil. It's just a payment processor that backs their currency using gold, which the world did until this past century.

E-gold had their offices raided last year or the year before by the FBI for supposedly being a safe haven for stuff like child porn. They were shut down for a couple days and their funds were frozen but they came out of it squeeky clean.

It is true that it's used by a lot of scam artists but thats only because there are no charge backs. The biggest problem you'll run into is finding a legit exchanger who does it fast enough for you. And when prices take a nose dive or climb real fast real soon, exchangers get a bit itchy too.

    Hi,
EG doesn't have anything like reverting the transaction as in case of PP. Also EG is backed by Gold so balance in our account will be in Gold and equivalent amount in USD or any other currency will be shown at that time..

    Regards,

I have been using egold for a long time.
You have to buy egold from a exchanger, they charge a % fee.
eg. 100 moneybookers for 103 egold
(There are official exchangers at egold site)
    Anyone can become an exchanger.

Egold is like paypal except that there is no chargeback feature,
    No transactions can be reversed.
And it is almost completely anonymous. (When someone scams and run away with your money, it is almost impossible to track them, or even get your refund... IMPOSSIBLE!!!)
You can create an account with all fake information and use it. (No one will find out)

The value of egold is the value of gold, it fluctuates as the gold prices do.

Most HYIPs are scams, they pay for awhile to get more ppl to join, then
when they have a large amount of money, they just shut down.
So are most autosurfs. Many paid-to programs also use gold.

I've been using it for years and know a lot of people who trade e-gold for a living. It is more volatile than forex and you can make big profit or pips in a matter of minutes.

A good friend of mine is making 5-200% ROI a day on it. But he trades a small amount otherwise he could own the worlds economy within a few months lol

    Hi Chris,

Could you perhaps elaborate on how your friend makes such a high ROI, how small are the small amounts he trades and who does he trade with
    ?
