What's this guest posting phenomenon?

I have lurked into FB groups and their seems a complete revolution since old days. There are literally thousands of people promoting guest posting.

What I understand is that it's basically an article posting on mostly a content farm type websites.

But people are advertising homepage DA but buyers don't ask for homepage links. It's kind of shift from few years back.

But I doubt if this strategy works.

What are your views?

To give you an example I'm using an outreach service right now. They decline 70% of potential clients for lack of quality content/site. I pay them $1597 a month for 5 guest posts. It's not cheap but I know that the sites accepting my guest posts doesn't allow low quality sites or link out to spammy sites, which is great. Not every client in my niche gets the same sites that I do (if they did, I know it's a quality site anyway). The guest posts have high authority and relevant to my niche. They actually have a 10 step vetting process to determine if they want to use a site or not for the guest post.

If they don't worry about your sites quality, have super fast turn around times and have cheap prices, more than likely you don't want the links they'll get you.

 

Is it just example or you really pay this amount for 5 guest posts??
If yes then can you share you niche market to check that its really so much expensive?

Yes, I'm really paying that amount for 5 guest posts. Like I mentioned the quality is top notch and one of the few that do legit outreach. Yes I can get DA80+ links for this same price and DA60+ for even less, which I do as well. DA40+ guest posts and link insertions can be done for $150 all day long.

I'm in a very broad, deep and competitive niche but the price is more from the quality than the niche.

 

What is you niche market? I just want to know because as you are defining, your price is very high because i am getting offers from many websites of Good DA like 60+ and price for guest posting or link insertion about $50 hardly and digital marketing, SEO is also a bit competitive niche.

So can you let me know your niche market please ?

 

I am sticking with the news websites, Google, ABC, NBC, Bloomberg, ESPN, etc, and I am not spending half of that price. How competitive your niche must be.

 

Yes you can signup for free at HARO and pitch reporters for free and get high authority links like you mention. There's a million ways to get links and price points.
