    I almost forgot about DQ.

Their chili cheese dogs w/ onions are pretty good!

White Castle is pretty decent too! (can you say Dutch oven?*) :D :D :D :D

    *my wife can!

Culvers is kind of like DQ, but with a much larger selection, much better food and custard instead of nasty dq ice cream :p

In Wisconsin Culvers are pretty common, 'primarily a Wisconsin company but spreading' in towns where DQ's are or were if a Culvers is even 2 towns over the DQ quickly goes away, it's that big of a difference. Here it was the same way as you describe, every little town had a DQ, but that's quickly changing. If you ever get to try Culvers one of these days go for it, I'd be shocked if you'd still like DQ after it

There's a couple of Culver's 30 and 60 miles away from me. I'll check one out when I'm in that part of town.

    They have DQ in Chicago?

My gf is headed to DQ right now with blizzards.

People really get boners for those onion things. I've never tried one but I just can't see it being THAT great.

Last time I was at Ootback, our pregnant waitress puked in front of our table. (I gave her a big tip because I felt bad for her.)

I never thought the onions would be that good until I tried one. Now I know why people brag about them.

I love Culvers! Of course Craig Culver is a freind of mine and lives a couple miles down the road.... It is funny though. the DQ in Sauk City (Culvers started there) is still in business, I have no idea how... Anyways, just remember if you order a culvers burger, they serve them plain, unless you ask for condiments.

Wow that's kinda cool in a way. Most of the long term DQ's I've known about in my neck of the woods have gone under once Culvers came anywhere near them. I can think of one off the top of my head that is still in business in West Bend, I'm sure there is another but most I knew of no longer exist.
Tell me about it, first time I got a burger from Culvers I was in a busy drive through, trying to rush I failed to realise that and got a plain burger. It was still damn good though with nothing on it,,,mmmmm butter burger.

Dairy Queen is cool, it's a fast food chain, but kinda different with their ice creams and stuff. It's the kind of place where you can take a girl on an "accidental date" or "run-in date" and still not look cheap. And oh yeah: Pizza Hut I dig as well :)

And In and Out Burgers :)

I remember Carl's Jr. being good. We used to go there three times a day in Tucson.

I ate a hot pepper from the salad bar on the way out of a Carl's JR. one morning...BIG MISTAKE! My mouth was on fire, no joke, for 12 hours. And I am used to spicy foods. I put tobasco on everything!

Victoria rocks! I love the ICE TEA at the Keg....but their steaks pale in comparison to anything you can get in Texas.

One thing I'm tired of is Mexican food. It's everywhere in San Diego and all tastes the same to me by now. I actually like places like panda express. Chinese food is prolly my fav.

    I like Ton's Mongolian Grill.

It's a regular Mongolian grill type of place. There's several different types of meat (chicken, beef, crab, shrimp, lamb, pork, ect) and a lot of different types of vegetables and noodles. You load up a couple of bowls of what you want and then add different types of sauces on it and take it over to a big open girll. The cooks cook it right there in front of you.

    MMMM Yummy.
