    Hello,
As you probably know, Facebook bought WhatsApp for $19M. recently.

What updates do you reckon WhatsApp service will get with this new social network owner?
Will it be a step forward for WhatApp to get more social?

Actually, it's $19 billion. I wouldn't expect any major updates for the first couple of years because Facebook doesn't want all of its users to go running off. But one thing Facebook did promise is to not include ads within the app.

Totally agree, and yep sorry $19 Billion.
From my point of view, the only improvement we will be able to see during this next years is a better server performance. This mens WhatsApp will not be down as often as it is now.

do you guys know if the application still cost $1 per year ?, I've paid for WhatsApp $1 per year, the money was not a problem, but I spend a day to be able to make the payment, hope that is free now.

It will only be a step forward to Facebook to get more extended user base.
