When will Adsense start showing?

I got an Adsense Account today. I copied the code for displaying adsense and Search box into my website.
The search box started showing while the Ads are not showing.

Any tips to correct this is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

It will take up to 3 days or so for google adsense to finally read your site and start delivering any ads that are pertinent to your site.

It depends upon the size of your site and how well it is indexed. My ads began showing up within a few minutes of placing the code on my pages. Initially you will see PSA's until the bot crawls your site.

Are you seeing PSAs or just blank space?

It all depends. If you have LOADS of content and keywords, it should take maybe a day or so. My paintball blog I started is on the second day with no related ads, but as you can see, not much content yet.

    www.paintballz.blogspot.com

Somesites take maybe a couple hours fo rme, some take about 3 days.

For a new page the ads do not show on the first page serving as the adsense bot has not crawled the page and hence the keywords are not established for the contextual ad serving.

I accelerate the process by refreshing my page several times in the first 10 minutes and this allows the adsense system to fire up ( I mean refresh your page and don't mean click on any ads).

    Hans23,
It would be better if you provide the URL of your website for the others to chip in their thoughts.

Paintballz.blogspot.com was presented to all of us to examined/enjoyed.

Pointless to say "Hey!!! I have no Adsense ads!!!" without telling us more.
