It's my girl's 4th birthday on Sunday so we've got a kid's party at Brinco's ( a bouncy castle place) lined up with a guy dressed as tweetie pie, a pinata and lots of screaming over-excited bairns. Won't that be fun!

I'm going to a dinner with my family as one of my brothers are going to Thailand for 4 or 5 months. I'm pretty sure we'll get them over-exited little ones as well though curtesy of my other brother.

To the Oregon coast for 1 night - actually got a family suite at the hotel. Not many hotels let us stay in one room. With 6 kids they want us to rent at least 2 normally!

I have no back seats in my VW, plus at top speeds of 55 max (and I mean max, cause it is a 58 with really low gears) It would take forever to get to the coast.

We will be driving the 94 Dodge van with Mark III conversion, nice dead cow skin seats (leather) tv and vcr for the kids to watch, etc. Problem is only 7 passenger but our oldest will be coming over with his friend later after he gets off work.

Out of all the plans this weekend this one actually sounds the funniest to me.

I'd love to wear my Tigger suit and pounce on that tweetie pie guy.

Well I got energetic this morning and climbed Mt Warning with my daughter and friends.
For those who have never heard of Mt Warning it is the place that catches the sun first here in Australia. It's a pretty tough climb, about 5k all up with the last 700 meters just about straight up.

It was a great sunrise, a bit cold and tonight my body is aching from the climb.

    Hey Hodge,

You are welcome to come. I'll put you down as an invitee and you get a half hour party to stuff your face then two hours in the bouncy castle barn. Don't ask me why they do it that way. I'd have thought all the kids'd be puking up all over tweetie and the bouncy cottage, but there you go. What do I know.

I was at the Chicago Bears game last night and two weirdos were wearing Pooh costumes. I'm really surprised they weren't beaten. WTF?!

Maybe they were really Pamela Anderson look-alikes and were tired of the guys hitting on them.

I tried to get my friend to go running by in front of a long office building with an all glass front section while I chased him in my Tigger suit. I wanted to pounce on him and then maul him. I thought it would be amusing in front of all those people.

I know if I was at work and witnessed Tigger mauling someone it would make my day.

My friend was a puss and wouldn't do it though.

Hodge. If more people spent their time thinking up ways to brighten up other folks day, the world would be a better place. Tuck your Tigger suit into your suitcase along with all the toilet paper and pop over to Tenerife on the ferry. We can have a BBQ in the mountains, with you as Tigger, my old man as Pluto (because he sure is from another planet), my daughter as a Princess Aurora, Sami as Atom Ant and me as Barney. We'd certinly give the locals something to talk about as they fussed over their steaming paella.
