where can i get a virtual USA phone number

I am looking for a service that can give me a virtual USA phone number which will be forwarded to my own phone to receive calls when the number is dailed. It will be an advantage for me if they accept credit card payment. Please suggest the ones that you are sure are working thanks.

Skype in, you pay for a local number somewhere in the world and pay a per minute fee per minute it ring through to your forwarded phone, i.e. you pay for the forwarding service + a fixed monthly fee for the Skype in number itself.

Google Voice, is free but only works in teh US and Canada. But gives you a local number and it can forward to any American or Canadian landline or mobile number. Completely free!

Hostgator, a fixed monthly fee for a local number that then is patched through to your computer. No per minute charges ut a small monthly cost and you have to sit by your computer.

 

if you have an iphone, you could try viber as well

I don't think MagicJack offers the service he asked about. I also think it is good in the USA and Canada.

skype has this service that you can choose your phone number from any states then will forward to your phone . in my opinion skype and google voice have the best services .
