    Switch that ad unit to a banner, and then you could add a skyscraper to your nav bar on the left

    No, the 3 images you have aligned horizontally - they are currently 197x108. Make them 200x200 and then put some 200x200 image ads below them.

    Actually, I think it would be better if you sacrifice one of those images (the ones that were already there). Instead place a 200x200 image ad there.

    Could you split the ads up so that they are 'in' with the content. At the moment I would guess people scroll down to read the content and miss the ads?
