Where to find good writers? (without going through the nonesense)

I have been through the racket of finding good writers; I have purchased here at DP and also at oDesk on several occasions. Each time I go through the process, I have to weed through a lot of non-native English speakers and a few non-dependable types and the process can be quite time consuming.

What are the alternatives? Has anybody had luck with writing forums? If so, which ones?

There are some providers over the net who would at least hear what you have to say and work upon them with their strategic way. They worth every penny. Here is the one I could refer to you.

Spend some time on "Copywriting" forum. Read the threads and you will be able to determine in short order, who the talented copywriters are. You need not go anywhere else as DP has all the talent you need.

from the knowledge that I can...

“Write what you know” has been the mantra of good writing almost forever. But does it stand up to scrutiny? It does not, argues Bret Anthony Johnston within the pages of the current issue of Atlantic Magazine—the Fiction Issue. Writing what you know, he says, is “writing to explain, not to discover,” and it negates the “opportunity for wonder.”||
