Where to look for customer service workers?

I am opening a website that will sell game virtual currency.

The workers would be basically be on live chat, checking sales when through and then delivering gold. Pretty basic stuff.

Of course, as a company just starting up, I need cheap worker(s) who can work around the clock while I do everything else behind the scenes. I was told by a friend to come here and ask for suggestions. Let me know what you guys think! I might be trying freelancer.com but they have a $100 deposit to look for staff which is steep especially when starting out for a company.

You don't need to live in one you need to visit one armed with a few brews , people will talk and with a bit of luck you'll get your job done for cheaps . Besides geeks always stay in the dorm , they almost never go out lol .

I for myself I would go for the first way, this way it might be easier to judge how trustworthy your staff will be

Guys please don't post your offers here . The OP just asked where he can find people , he didn't asked for offers . What you just did it's called spam and it denote unprofessionalism and a level of desperation . Personally i wouldn't pick you because of what you just did .

freelancer.com is still a good place to be if you want to outsource the service. You don't need to make a $100 deposit, just don't advertise that you're looking for the full-timers. Post your job, talk to the bidders and you could take things outside of the freelancer if need be. You can also check out elance.com; they have a good supply of "virtual assistants" who may just fit your bill

You can outsource the job to different countries. You can find online job search and post your ads. I am sure you can find a lot of cheap and reliable workers there.

I would try craigslist or kijiji. I have had some success with those sites in the past
