Where To Start First?

Hi all,

I now in planing to create my own niche web directory. But in the same time, i have a plan to build a free articles directory.

Which one is the 'best' could I start first to make money? Means, if i have articles directory, i can make money by adsense and ads. Also for web directory, i plan to make it paid directory.

Anyone can suggest some good ideas?

 

Paid directory is a terrible idea. There are so many free ones that a paid one stands a little chance.

Article directories are also very abundant. If you're looking to make quick cash be ready for a long and strenuous journey because it takes a lot of effort to get good at making money through such websites.

I suggest coming up with an original idea by looking at the unfilled niches.

So, maybe i'll create my own niche directories. I've some ideas and plan.

But one more question. If we want to make a paid directory and our site (directory) not have a good PR yet, no high traffics, how can we convince peoples pay us to using our paid directory?

If you have a directory with a crappy pr then you can't expect people to pay for links. When you get to PR5 and higher then people will start to pay but if you just start a directory no one will pay.

I suggest starting off free to you get bigger then as time goes just charge more and more. But start low, like $1 for a link.
