Which ads, where, and on what pages?

I recently joined adsense. I only have one banner ad on my homepage. I'm still wondering if I should have put in a leaderboard instead. It replaces I bar I had on the site. I did some minor site opmitization so hopefully the crawlers will pick up more keywords. I moved the paragraph above the ads, and the update below the ad. I had it reverse before.

Now what other ads shoud I use and on which pages? Should I put an ad on each page, or just the main pages? I don't always have visitors coming in through the main page. If so, which ads would probablly work better?

I was thinking of putting a search on teachings page, and topics page. I'm not sure about other ads.

Any and all help will be appericated. If you have comments about the site itself, that will be welcome also.

Put it on all pages. More chances of click through.

Also, make it look like part of your site a little more. Theory is that if it looks like a link to something interesting, and not a blatent advert, people ill be more inclined to click.

Thanks for replying. Ok, I changed it some. I put in a leader board with no border that is the same color as my website.

To compair I put the old layout at

    www.bibletopicskjv.com/index2.html

I sorta like the look of the smaller banner, but if it doesn't generate the clicks. It seems that the smaller banner was pulling more on ads that were suited to the site.

On the other hand a leader board would offer more ads.

Let me know what you think.

    All advice and comments welcome.

try using large rectangle (336 x 280) or 300x250 inside your post.
