Hey, josephfreeman, I forgot to ask - how long has your site been around, and what's your pagerank like?

b2evolution should be fine with your demands. It's an similar cms like wordpress, but I find it much better to handle custom fields.

If you are absolutely sure, that you will forever use only something like you said "product image, name and description", choose wordpress for it's simplicity.
If you may need to grow functionality of your site in future, go with Drupal, cause you will have much bigger flexibility.

My suggest is Wordpress : it's easy to install, manage and customize. If u google Wordpress themes and joomla themes u'll see difference . Wp it's almost a standard, every programmer makes also a Wp version of the script.

You should give Joomla a try, with the Virtuemart extension, it may be exactly what you are looking for. It's easy to install if you follow the tutorials available online, no need to know anything about PHP first. And it's free...

And I maintain that you use nothing that requires installation, if DIY is what you're after. But that's just my two cents' worth ...

are you going to be reviewing the products, or allowing user review? I'd advise joomla with the jreviews add on. The guy who created jreviewe also has an automatic upload tool linking excel to customer fields in jreviews, allowing creation of hundreds of listings in seconds.

I've been using jreviews in the "social networking scripts' category on my site, to give you an idea of what it looks like.

You can find many great free review extensions for WP, could I suggest the GD Star Rating one? http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gd-star-rating/ This plugin supports multi level rating, a really nice feature!

Search for "review" in the plugin directory at the WordPress official website to find other ones.

Probably you are a newbie and you may not have enough programming skills. In that case, Wordpress will be the best. I use Wordpress heavily in my websites. Wordpress is not just a blogging platform, but also a CMS.

    Best of luck!
