There are two options for you: Joomla or Drupal.

Joomla have a lot more commerce modules available. Not all of them are free. You can check commerce modules directory on Joomla's official website. Also many templates are available for Joomla.

Drupal have one module for commerce Ubercart. Very powerful module. Accept many types of payments. You can create products, product catalogs, automate payment processing etc. You can read all specifications on official Drupal website.

Usually more easy to start with Joomla but if to talk about commerce Drupal can be your choice as one module to set up will be more easy than few modules from Joomla. You can try both anyways to see what is better for you.

Check osCommerce. It's free and it's quite good.

I found Joomla very easy and straight forward to use, however, I had a load of bugs and issues with certain plug in modules and this included security risks and hacking attempts. OS Commerce appears to me to be much more stable, however, is a little hard to get to grips with initially. I guess though that these little user interfaces are just user preference. Overall Joomla was/is extremely feature rich and versatile.
