Which comes first, blog or Facebook page

Ok, I've registered my domain name and plan to first use blog posts to build content and generate traffic. However, I've also heard from many that setting up a facebook page/group is the easiest way to do this. If I do setup a facebook page though, seems that people would frown upon that given their's no website with useful content first.

It then leads to this question. Which is advisable to start first, a Facebook page where I post interesting content to my target audience, or a blog hosted under my domain name. wow, decisions, decisions :-|

Get your blog up and share your blog post on facebook page you have created for this domain. This is the best practice.

Yes, that's correct: create the blog and then share it on social media.

Ok then. How many blog articles are we talking before I publish it on Facebook? I mean it'll be a bit awkward if I invite friends to the launch and it features just 3 articles.
