Which content management system for a tutorial site?

Hi

I am going to be developing a tutorial site for photoshop photography editing. I was thinking of using wordpress, but is this a good idea?

I've not had any expiernce with Joomla - would that be a better idea? Or Drupal - not even heard of this?

I think Wordpress would be fine. I'd go with Wordpress if you have experience with it.

 

Would wordpress with the Thesis framework (http://diythemes.com/) be a good place to start to make a tutorial website?

 

Any theme would be a good place to start. No matter what theme you choose, you are going to have to do quite a bit of modding to the theme which all depends on how you want to present your tutorials.

I think what you need to do is sit down and think about the presentation first, get the idea in your head, then ask questions.

I might have to use that wordpress Tutorial theme it sounds great thank yous for that too because op is looking for one and did not know were.

Wordpress all the way. For anything dealing with articles or presentation. There's some excellent SEO features to be added, the script is very versatile and easy to use.

i agree with your opinion wordpress is the best place to start tutorial.i have some experience in this field.
