That's a favorite of mine too. Went to a wedding once that had a chocolate fountain to dip fruits in. The thing was about 3 feet tall. The line formed very quickly when they turned it on. Of course, I had spotted it when I came in and was at the nearest table.

Fondue rocks!!!

I have a friend from Switzerland and every year on Christmas eve she has a fondue party. We have cheese fondue for dinner, and chocolate for dessert. Last year we made it with Ghirardelli dark chocolate and a bit of cream...it was insane. I have such an addiction to sweet things. My neighbors totally love me cause I bake all the time and I give most of it away to save myself from becoming a fattyboombalati.

My latest obsession is Double Rainbow vanilla ice cream with fresh strawberry puree.


Also...we found this great cafe (The Honey Pot) in Christchurch New Zealand while on vacation. They had the best breakfasts I've ever eaten anywhere!!!! Every order is basically smothered in hollandaise sauce. That's pretty much the first thing I think of when I wake up on Sunday morning.

Too bad NZ is half way round the world from me.
