    I've heard a lot of good things about hostgator's shared hosting. We had bluehost and it was absolutely crap - nothing like having customers calling you wondering why your store is down (daily). We ended up with a couple dedicated servers after a year or so, but that is probably out of budget.

    If you've got the money for dedicated servers, definitely go with HostGator. Well, the only need for dedicated servers is when you've got a huge amount of traffic. Their servers are secure, and the hosting is fantastic. I've been using their service for my network of websites for almost three years and it's a A+ service in my book.

    Many hosting companies have their own strong points.Website load time,security,ease of use ,support are all issues to consider.
    I personally use host gator and haven't had problems with them.
