Facebook and Twitter are still the best social networking site. There are lots of registered account using these social sites. You can also include in your list the Pinterest, this is also a good site for traffic.

To me Google Plus is growing day after day. I have started investing time and efforts there.

 

I seem to have good response when I link my blog posts to Google+. I average 20 - 40 visits a day to my blog when I share it with Google+. Also beginning to use Linkedln a little, but not enough to see any visible results yet.

 

Don't neglect the power of Google+ -

With Google + you can increase your visibility & get more folk to engage with you. You can also share posts and even link to your profile.

If you share content on Google +, the chances are that it'll get indexed that much quicker.

One of the things i love about Google +,is the amount of traffic i get - just by optimizing & tweaking my Google+ author photo. My photo then shows up on the search engine when i post my content so it instantly stands out. That means that even if you aren't ranked in the top 5 on Google, you're entry will still get noticed!

Facebook. because almost 48% of social media traffic is on facebook. But if you need to do social media marketing. Then must work on all social media sites.

Depends. For business — Google+.
For having a good social presence in a "young" niche — tumblr.
For anything clothes, make-up, fashion, blogging, DIY — pinterest or instagram.

 

After facebook and twitter, I think MySpace...Available in 15 different languages, allows customization of profile and integration of features such and blogs, groups, bulletins, widgets.

 

Facebook is the big one and very powerful. Twitter is the other one, you must use both. Then Pinterest. I would add also MySpace which I don't think is dead. Its new layout is cool, but it's too early to understand if it will be a winner or a loser in the social platforms run.

 

I don't know, but I think Pintrest is going to be popular soon. but for now, I would say Google + is the one after FB and Twitter.
