There are so many opensource CMS availabel for free download. But which is the best on the world, considering about being easy to use + being light weight sourcecodes + being full of functionality + being secure? Could anyone help me to know?

By no stretch of the imagination does Joomla belong in this thread. I had to help 7 people recover from a Joomla hack this week alone. Only one of them was using some sort of nulled craziness.

Personally, I love WordPress. It has had it's security problems, but I don't know any CMS that hasn't. However, the latest version of WordPress has made significant gains in terms of security (see this article).

WordPress has over 200 themes listed in their directory and there are thousands more available all over the Internet. There are also premium themes that you can buy that are very nice, including Revolution Themes by Brian Gardner and ithemes.

In addition to this, there are over 2800 plugins, which almost assures that anything you want to add to your site has already been done by someone else, and is very easy to integrate.

WordPress is also very user friendly for those who dont' know a lot of code. Their built in sidebar widgets allow you to easily set up and rearrange the items in your sidebar using a user friendly interface with very little, if any coding necessary.

WordPress is great in terms of SEO, allowing you to use search engine friendly urls, create tag and category pages and there are many great plugins that give you control over your meta data.

Another reason to use WordPress is it's integration with Akismet. Akistmet is a great way to stop spam comments on your site, and save you hundreds of hours in moderation time.

Many people think of WordPress as just blogging software, but once I started using it, and saw how powerful it is, and what you can do with it, I'm convinced that there's nothing you couldn't do with it.

Yes, thanks for your opinions. I'll try to write a CMS by myself to suit with my purposes.

Is there a routine to write an opensource CMS ?

Best CMS, imo, is MODx - it's fast, programmable, heirarchical. You need a few programming skills to get the best out of it but it has some awesome plugins. It's got full meta tag management, MOD-Rewrite, and hierarchical MOD-Rewrite (if necessary)

The very best is Drupal but needs a LOT of programming and investment in time. Some of the big sites in the world use it.

I'm just starting out and tried both wordpress and joomla. For me, I have more options in terms of managing content using joomla.
For some reason, everytime I use a different template with wordpress, there is a different way of modifying the design as included in the theme. Whereas with joomla, modifying the theme is pretty much standard.
Again, i'm just a newbie and this is just my limited experience. One way to find out is to try which application will suit your needs. All the best.

There is no "best" CMS. The BEST CMS for you depends on the functionality you're looking for, your personal preferences in terms of interfacing and community support, and how much tolerance you have for steep learning curves. I have tried pretty much all of them, and I can mention three or four that I consider giants and one or two that I hate with a passion, because it really is a matter of personal preference.

In my opinion the best CMS I have ever worked with in all aspects is Drupal. ModX is pretty sweet too.

I love using Joomla to build the core content sites. Give a lot more flexibility in terms of design and fuctionality. That said, I've been using WordPress for the blogging component.

I think the learning curve is higher using Wordpress. Joomla has as many features Wordpress. I have used both and prefer Joomla for it's simplicity. As fart as protecting your site, make sure you change access to 2 files in particular: set ".htaccess" and "configuration.php" permissions to 444. Hackers have attempted to disrupt my sites, but I had backups in place to recover. I used joomla cloner to schedule the backups.

    Just my thoughts
