    Facebook is good.... it has many members, but now it has very bad issues about it... like about religion, racist, and shared identity....
    Twitter is good because it is very simple to use...
    in the past, i know about friendster.. but now it has been left by it's member...

    According to me the best site for social network marketing are facebook and twitter. In facebook you can make your pages where as in twitter you can tweet as many as you can.

    there's literally thousands of social networks out there. Yes, Facebook is the biggest - but in my opinion, it's not the best. I try to focus on local social networks in my community.

    Twitter could work, but you need to know what you are doing. There are a lot of spammers, so you could have 5,000 followers and 0 clicks

    Right now Facebook, or Youtube if you make your own videos and engage the comments. Twitter is hard to get personalized while FB is already easy with ability to become friends with someone, view pictures, comment on their photos, videos, stream, etc. This isn't to say neglect the other networks though.

    There are a lot of social networking sites, but I would say the best are Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Ning. I especially like it that Ning has many different niche related groups that you could joint.

    Depends on what your target market is, how much time you can devote ect ect. Facebook generally has a large reach and can create good traffic from fans, groups ect. Twitter has more professionals and middle age users than facebook, takes time to build a reputation, but is simple to reach your followers repeatedly. LinkedIn is better for B2B and is mainly professionals. Myspace is good for creatives i.e bands, fashion label ect.
