face book is the best, but some indians are like orkut - is there any specific reason for this I do not know

i m using 3 social network: facebook, hi5 and tagged... among them, facebook is the best

 

I've done some marketing with clubplanet, with them I found the best social media site are
1. Facebook, by leaps and bounds
2. Twitter, produces good traffic for any interesting topic
3. Myspace, If your twitter and facebook profiles are working well for you mypsace can be left in the dark.
4. Ping.fm, for all other social media. Create a stream of content feeding into ping and you've got so many social site profiles working for you.

Facebook, is the absolute best!

Shoot, it even passed Google last week for the most visited site.... That has to say something...

Big changes will be coming, because of this... Advertise on facebook while its still fairly cheap...

It depends on what your using it for. If it is for promoting your business/websites then ALL of them. Don't discriminate because they all can help if used properly.

 

Facebook and Twitter so far the best social networking websites available here for the best possible optimization of the websites.

 

It depends on different aspects such as....what you're looking for...business, personal, pleasure, dating, etc..?

Twitter, Facebook and delicious....all the 3 are good..delicious is slowly picking up

 

It really depends on your purpose for using a social media network. If you're looking to reconnect with old friends, interact with friends, etc. on a daily basis then Facebook is probably the best. If you're looking to nework with other people in your industry with whom you may or may not know to gain business contacts then I prefer linked in. If you're looking to drive traffic to your site using social media marketing then I prefer twitter.

They each have their pros and cons but all of the major social networks have their own niche.

 

For me: Facebook and Twitter.

 

it all depends on your own liking, however overall, Facebook is the best bookmarking site to my mind. It gives you so many features to work and has have wide options for one way link building. Twitter comes the next in my favorite list of social networking sites.
