i've took the advice of someone on here and tried to brighten up my ads...
i'm trying to decide between three colour schemes i've left both up so you can try and give me advice on which one! at the top - the white colour scheme then obviously on the left the green one and the right the blue one....
which one do you think would work best!???
also any other suggestions on a better colour shceme are welcome too!

    Hi ,
IMHO the Green does it for me.. Or you could try match the colour in your nav bar.. ( The Blue Colour..)?

    Cheers

I prefer the Green and blue one if any, but just a point - maybe you could try tightening things up a little bit so the ads look at 'one' with with the site - so they blend in better.

    Example -

If you wanted to quickly and easily rectify this blending problem you could consider changing the grey background to a colour that fits in with the Navigation bar at the top. This would make the site look like a unit and the ads wouldn't stand out so much! - Just a suggestion.....

    Hope this helps!

P.S - Wow 'jon2k6' This is the 3rd thread i've read in the space of about 15 minutes based on the same website!!

I like the one on the right (blue and green) best. It is easy to read and not as hard on the eyes as the green on the left.

peth, I can't simply just change the background..basically that design is in stone...I created this site from scratch in Photoshop, sliced it into images in Imageready, saved as html. import into dreamweaver, set images as bg then start building...then upload to my server, that is how I used to build all my sites..I am going to start using things like Joomla though, get the job done much faster and more practicle
Thanks alot anyway, I will use the Blue n Green

i've gave my opinion, but i would recommend waiting for others to give theirs.

By the way - editable regions can be done through Dreamweaver - its pretty easy.

    Good Luck mate.
