    as i have both the script, and made both types of sites already.

    i am going to create 20 more sites with both scripts, but i want to know which type of site has more potential or good to get some visitors, Alexa, PR and some money.

    Bookmarking site like : vianwebdevloper.com or directory site: trafficheat.com ?

    good bad any type of comment will be appreciate, do tell mates as i am going to make sites from nov 2014.

    Google won't be updating its public PageRank anymore, so you can forget about chasing that number. Alexa is so easily manipulated that it's hardly worthwhile. So that leaves you with trying to attract visitors, and I believe that the best way to gain an advantage in the SERPs is to create your site for your visitors.

    Yeah Agree with the 2 above, go with Bookmarking. Directories seem to be outdated and unuseful nowadays. :)

    I don't get social bookmarking sites. They seem an awful lot like the old free-for-all links that Google acted against many years ago. Do they serve any purpose other than as an SEO scheme?

    Neither. I don't think they are still relevant since social bookmarking and directory sites are most likely to be a link farm.
    And submitting to those type of sites are already considered as link scheme, not unless if it is somthing like stumbleupon or dmoz.
