    Soundcloud, Reverbnation and Myspace will work for sure. But before going for any particular site for promotion. Analyse what interests people on these websites and then make a choice. I hope you don't have just a single song in store.

    SoundCloud, Youtube and MySpace are the three sites you want to hit. I'm not a musician myself but I listen to a lot of music on soudcloud and youtube made by individuals.

    Upload your music everywhere, but find one or two sites that work for you and hit them hard. MySpace, SoundCloud, SoundClick, ReverbNation, etc. DON'T IGNORE YOUTUBE - YouTube is a great way to get noticed, and you can upload both music and other videos that give fans a chance to see who you really are.
