    Stumble brings me way more traffic on a regular basis than any other SB site. Digg is great if you can get to the front page, and also Digg links will rank well sometimes, so they can bring in Google traffic, but if all you care about is pageviews, SU it is.

    No, SU don't require having a lot of friends, just interesting content, and don't stumble your own site, they have a way to know if you're tried to submit too many pages from one site, and they automatically reject it (only you won't know, so you'll just never get any traffic).

    Most traffic is stumbleupon, most of it bounces, but you can get tons of traffic from there.

    It depends on the type of content on the page.

    Digg is good for articles/news.

    Stumbleupon is good for funny/weird things.

    Stumbleupon , Digg are the 2 that I really really like.

    Just be careful , a large number of diggs/stumbles can send a sheer ton of traffic that could shut down your website.

    One thing I do not understand is, who would stumble my post in the first place?

    Its quite evident that you can not stumble your own posts, which is against SU's policies.

    For me, Digg, Reddit and IndianPad works best.

    Social bookmarking traffic tends not to convert as well as search traffic. If you're looking for exposure, it can be good. If you want sales, it blows.

    I agree - that is what stumbleupon is for, and it's how most of the stumbleupon users use it - they see something that interests them and give a thumbs up - simple as that.

    which do you have an account with and how many times you work on them.......i believe orkut and facebook are the best......want to do more researching then try doing it through alexa which will tell you the some nice figures about the websites traffic .......
