    For recreation only Facebook as all of my friends are available there. But for me Linkedin is not ignorable too as it's the coolest business related social sites.

    I do use facebook. Also google+ (but just to find how efficient it is). However, from first i am in facebook not just for friends sake but also for SMO by integrating facebook plugins on my website. (Like button, comment box, like box etc).

    It is undoubtedly Facebook. Because it the most popular website over the internet. This is the largest meeting place in this universe. It is user friendly and very professional. Like most of the people I also love FB for making my network and sharing my feelings with my friends.

    It really depends on the type of your online business and your audience.

    Facebook and Twitter are great for B2C, while Linkedin works awesome for B2B.

    Anyway, it's good to have a company page on every popular social media website, namely Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and LinkedIn.

    Then set up your social media goals and work through one (or several) social media channels to achieve them.

    I don't like the facebook timeline and many features that they recently added, but facebook still has many of my longtime friends, classmates and coworkers... I'm a very active person so many times I need to contact them as soon as possible and they answer faster from their facebook than their mobile phones :S
