Which social networking site is most useful for the traffic purpose ?

I always felt Facebook to be the most robust....

 

Social Media Sites <-- where people spend most of their time even if it's totally non-sense. So chances are high to get more traffic and even sales.

 

Facebook and Twitter still rule the Social Networking Sites. Hazyl is also right, Pinterest is on its way.

 

I agree that Facebook and Twitter is the best ways to attract people to your site. Keep update of both site, interact them with each other surely help.

Could you please share with everyone some of your experience with Twitter advertising by hash tags?

Digg, Facebook, LinkedIn is the best from my views. as i usually use it and find the best traffic from here.

 

Traffic from Social networks mainly based on what kind of fan following you have over there.I like face book and twitter to generate relevant traffic for your website.You can use this sites to get traffic for your site.

it depends on what you are promoting, Facebook is an obvious choice but the audience is typically younger with perhaps less money. LinkedIn is more professional, a lot of bricks and mortar businesses use it to promote and hire, twitter is a good all-round choice, but you have to get followers and be RT often to get your message out there. good luck

If you're serious about business, I would highly encourage you to join linkedin . Little known ryze is also very good. Other excellent social networking sites include your usual suspects: twitter, stumbleupon, myspace, and facebook. Be careful, however. Don't overdo it. Less is more on these sites! Good luck

Facebook is the leader, no doubt. However, I would caution folks to post links sparingly. Too many links makes the FB folks--not to mention followers--wary.

I'll prefer to use Facebook They can drive a lot of traffic if you have a good followers of the page.As many people are using Facebook we can interact with number of people.
