    Wordpress, of course, but also several social networking scripts like Social Engine (already said). You could also try several other CMS like Drupla, Joomla and E107.

    make your own cms, using a premade cms is 100x harder then just making your own.

    You must be joking. So you're saying using drupal or joomla is 100 times harder than developing your own. Your logic escapes me. :confused:

    Wordpress, movabletype are good for blogging..
    Drupal, Joomla are good for corporate websites ...
    OSCommerce are good for ecommerce

    All CMS Are good and have many plugins or modules... maybe you can choose one of them that suits your needs
