    i have experience with php melody(it is best and simple)..any other cms because it doesn't have more features...

    wordpress .. I'm not convinced it's good enough for video websites (in case you are talking about your own hosted videos of course)

    If yiu are grabbing content from youtube etc then it's a different story ..

    I really do agree here...even though Wordpress isn't built to be a video CMS, it can make a really nice video site. The only downside is that it will be high maintenance.

    Drupal is very customizable and good for online communities. It has extensive user permissions and can be developed into any kind of site you want.

    Custom made is the only way to go with high traffic website. I have created one but its in the xx,xxx range in cost. Lots of hours of managing and handling massive traffic, over 600mbps on one server with MySQL..

    All those scripts come out and look pretty, but you quickly find out, managing your site is impossible, and you have no real way to change that with those cheap scripts.... We built ours with 15 years of industry experience, and actually administering it, and has 3 years of use behind it.. Custom made is really the only way to go unless you have 5 visitors a day
