Which will fade first, Facebook or Twitter?

I never really understood how Twitter could be successful long term.

I agree with an above post; it works great for celebrities.

 

Twitter fore sure, Has to go 1st as Usasportstraining says its great for celebs for imo for the masses it wont last !

 

I think it will be Twitter, as Facebook has lots of different elements to it, whereas Twitter is very repetitive and people will become bored easily.

I love twitter so much and its my best social network but i think its going to fade first. Facebook would stay longer than twitter.

Comparing the two I think twitter will fade first comparing their services twitter is very limited than facebook no doubt.

Hate to say also, but Facebook has made it so they will be around for years. No one is even 1/4 of the way of beating them yet, and with the billions of dollars they have constantly being invested into a better site etc they'll be #1 for years.

Ofcourse twitter, Facebook is start to enter the global market and become a trend for everyone. Facebook application success to bring all people along to interact with and it become a powerful business tool.

 

I do not underestimate either Facebook or Twitter. Twitter has surprisingly become one of the hottest social media tool. People frequently tweet and convey their messages to other users. On the other hand, Facebook offers more features to users than any other social networking websites. Moreover, there are rumors which suggest that Facebook is going to launch their own mobile device this year. Mark Zuckerberg has also quoted that Facebook will not be confined to social networking zone and it will soon have its own search engine and may even compete with Google.

If I had to choose between these two, I would say that Facebook still has a long way to go while Twitter is at the peak. Sooner or later Twitter will face the obvious choice of either coming up with an innovative idea or perish.
