You never met my parents.

To the person that left me the green in this thread about why Rob's wife is so tired, can I assume that, that is the same reason why Rob is always sleeping?

 

Well, Rob hasn't posted in a while, maybe he succumbed to the fumes again or the cat clawed his eyes out. One of the two.

Ive got 3 boys and to tell you the truth I think I am living the best time of my life. I simply don't want it to end. Even though they don't behave as we want them to and house is a total mess by the end of the day its deffinitely worth it. Just don't grow up to fast

 

I was told I couldn't have kids so I got a boxer. One year later, at 36, I found out that I was pregnant. When I told buggerlugs he said, 'Huh, how did that happen?'.

Two years later he must have zigged when I zagged in just the right way and ooops - there I was with another little bun in the oven. So, yes. I am an old mama. But I'm glad I did it this way round. I had years of fun, travelling, boozing, dancing all night. Now though I occasionally feel like throwing my flip flops and sunscreen into a bag and getting the hell out of Dodge, the feeling is temporary.

My babes are the light of my life (and the boxer comes a very close second).

As for you Crazy R, I've no idea why your wife would want another kid, you must be quite a handful as it is.

 

I do not have kids, but im in opposition here - almost all of my friends have kids. Divorce is common, too.

There are fiew things that I gain for that option.
- Kids are great! That is normal proces. We are created to have kids.
- Kids are great when you are older. This is why people live. To take care on someone.

But, there are reasonable important thinks for me to think about before kids:
- Am I enough mature to CREATE one life? To give all happyness and knowledge to my child.
- Am I more mature than my parents. To see my parents mistakes. Can I be better?
- What I plan to do in my life to make secure childhood.
- Is my relation with girl good enough. Stupid relations, and then child suffer.

It is easy to make child, but man should be SMART and STRONG all years after to make those kids better than parent.

This is kind of how I feel about it I guess. I mean why else do we really exist?

Not having kids is kind of a selfish thing to do...but so is having kids for the wrong reasons. Hmmm, well I guess this poll will have to determine the outcome.

Rob, even if all other kids you have ever met, are smelly, runny-nosed, whiny little rugrats, your own will be perfect. And you and the missus are doing the right thing by sleeping all the time now, because you won't get much shut eye for the first year after having CR jr.

Actually, she only gets about four hours a night. She'll wake up at 5 and I still have three hours of cruise time!

Well I wanted people to be honest. You can't really say, "My kids are shitty" and then have your name revealed in public.

 

I would fall into the "I don't have kids but would like to sometime in the future" category. Hmmm, 'tis a very interesting question. You could adopt a baby for a few weeks and see how the missus handles it, then again it's different if they're not you're own so I dunno

 

No kids. I have led the most selfish life imaginable. Lived all over the world, worked a ton-partied more. Its shallow, but has worked for me.

Definitely will want them in another few years. I am more concerned w. money these days than settling down.

 

Good point! Yes, why we live if we do not have kids! Then we are selfish, desoriented persons.
