Who is coming to Europe ?

I'm about to develop my .eu domain for travellers coming to Europe and need some ideas. When you plan a trip to Europe, what kind of information are you looking for ? Where do you go to find that sort of information ?

The site will contain:
Visa/Passport info
Places of interest
Airport information
Travelstories
......


What other information would you need ?

I'm already in Europe

When I travel around europe I look for good car rental prices, good price hotels but not to cheap and scary. Also some sites to visit if I have the weekend off work while I am traveling around.

 

I doubt many people travel "to Europe" though.

I would presume that they travel "to Germany", or "to England" etc.

its a friend's site - in Italian language only

the basics:
members login and post their own travel experience with photos and comments

his site eventhough in italian only is extremely successful ( I saw his stats a few months ago ) - he started about a year ago and sky-rocketed UP in traffic.

may be you can integrate some similar software for all the travel experiences
may be even multi-lingual ? or at least in a few major EU languages.

having members post photos and comments about travel experiences of course creates soon enough steadily new pages on daily basis and hundreds of new pages / photos weekly to boost traffic - the more experiences posted the greater the value of the site for new visitors

another software useful for member-posting photos with comments would be gallery2 - open source - excellent and easy to maintain/install VERY SE friendly - automated RSS feed creation / sitemap creation, etc - runs on Linux and can be integrated with a variety of CMS - see " Embedded Environment" or run as standalone - see my: gallery of Philippine islands
