I have used Digg for a while and have not had any major success to speak of. I do get some small steady traffic but nothing ground breaking.

I've been using digg for the past couple weeks, and the most traffic I got from that website is one visitor, :(

I submit useful information and add it to the correct category, but still no hits.

The most I get, is profile views... ( About 1-2 a day )

So, I guess I had no success with digg.

Digg can be unhelpful, if unused properly.

I've gotten at least 3 or 4 stories to hit the front page from my personal blogs, and I have to say it's given me a huge boost in traffic and visitors over the next couple of days. Overall I probably gain 20 or 30 new loyal readers and visitors, but it's nothing stable unless you continually hit the FP over and over.

Is it worth trying to hit? Absolutely, you'll gain a ton of traffic and it's not bad to just get your name and brand out there

digg is only good for people who write blogs more than just getting people to see what you have. Since the popular ones are usually on the top and it's hard to see the other diggs.

Digg is garbage, I submitted an article, got over 250 Diggs in one day legitimately and it didn't even make the front page. Then you look at some of the articles on the front page and think "how is this crap front page material?" and it had less diggs.

In my opinion I find that Digg is FANTASTIC for gaining THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of traffic if you do it the right way, I had a great week in the summer of 09 on Digg digging my own affiliate link to dating websites, clickbank products, you name it, I had a digg auto account creator and auto digger working all automatically for about a week then it got patched by digg so I moved on in making excess of 3k... I might move back to digg though so OP or anyone have a decent plan /method for digg, hit me up via PM I'l help you out, code a few bots and split the profits :D...
