Let me make it simple.

Like I said at times there is a need to link to another forum to show or explain a situation like I did when the guy stole forum content on WebMastery and started his own forum using it.

But if one starts threads consistently just to leave links to his sites and forums within threads that is taking advantage of Digital Point traffic.

Again we do have a signature and that is allowed and is enough self promotion, we do not have to link to the same sites within threads for the hell of it day after day or create threads for that reason.

 

I can't believe I'm actually agreeing with Noppid. Thats not a sign of the apocalypse, is it?

And suddenly you are a Moderator again. If the topic at hand is directly related to the product, it is perfectly reasonable to have a link to it. And yes, once in a while a member may be a little more blatant about it but it is usually deserved.

If someone is looking for a way to add an Amazon store to their site, why should Noppid pussy foot around and make it difficult for the member that is asking.

Furthermore, what gives you the right to determine who and what can be promoted. This has come up before and I stated then that there are a lot of members here that find those links useful when they are relevant.

And who is it hurting to have it there? I don't see new members leaving because someone answered their question with a link for the product or service they were looking for.

I think you need to lighten up a bit

 

So what do you call starting and nurturing usless threads on digital point when the only possible point is an adsense ad in your name? So much of your useless statements are spin offs of existing threads, but you move the topic under your name with a sensational statement for that 50 - 50 chance at a penny. Talk about hijacking a thread! You have made it an art! You kill peoples threads. It's rediculous.

I think there are very few people who should be able to make comments regarding other people's promotional tactics. I think it is important to look at the overall quality of the forum and if anyone impacts it in a negative way. Accusing each others doesn't make too much sense, very often the accuser may have something to hide himself

 

Noppid still has not given the reason that I claimed he did this when I never did, in addtition he has not explained his silly claim that I post here for Adsense money.
