    It depends. Google+ is preferred in the tech word over Facebook, Twitter is more used in the US than in Europe... Pinterest is preferred in a more artistic environment (that's my opinion anyway)... so you can't generally assess them.

    My personal top is G+, Twitter, Facebook.

    Facebook -- Good for engaging in conversations with peronal friends who might later have an inerest in a page, group or cause.
    Twitter -- Excellent for reaching mass amounts of people at once.
    Pinterest -- Awesome visual appeal via images and timeline quotes that are easily passed on to Facebook and other sites.
    ***I added one more ---->>>Instagram -- The mobile equivalent to Pinterest.
    Google+ -- Excellent for reaching targeted groups of people more easily and conveniently.
    Linkedin -- More tailored to business professionals and a great place to find a high-paying job.
    Reddit -- Don't use as much as I used to; just for social sharing of links and to keep up with the news.
